MOSAIC ACADEMY YOUTH PROGRAMS
Our Mosaic Academy Youth Program is an educational steelpan program for young people of all experience levels. Through guided instruction and ensemble playing, students build musical skills while strengthening listening, sequencing, pattern recognition, vocabulary, oral language, memory, concentration, and focus. These skills support early literacy, classroom readiness, and positive school engagement. Mosaic Academy encourages creativity, discipline, confidence, and collaboration within a culturally rich and supportive learning environment.

Mosaic Academy Norfolk is located in Downtown Norfolk and serves children from Communities Across South Hampton Roads.

Arts Center
Mosaic Academy Newport News expands community programming at the Downing-Gross Cultural Arts Center, serving the heart of the city’s East End. THURSDAYS 6:00-7:30 PM.
Lakeview Elementary
Mosaic Academy Portsmouth provides programming for youth in the Cavalier Manor neighborhood.
WEDNESDAYS & FRIDAYS 4:00-5:00 PM.
Park View Elementary
Mosaic Academy Portsmouth serves youth in the Park View and Shea Terrace neighborhoods.
WEDNESDAYS & THURSDAYS 8:00-8:50 AM.
